Dear Friends of the Ensemble,

As we begin a new performance year, a new chapter in our band’s history is unfolding. For the past three years, West Carteret Bands and Ensembles have been growing in students served through music, arts and servant leadership, currently, our band programs touch over 155+ young men and women.

​

Music education is so vitally important to the development and leadership growth of our young people. Successive cuts to the arts programs in our state’s schools have left many of our children without arts enrichment classes at all! Our band program ensures that every child in our public school system has the opportunity and access to music education.

​

The Carteret County School Board continues to fund our program even when state funding cuts demand that music programs like ours be eliminated first! This amazing news, shows the confidence our county has in our music programs. But... in order to continue serving our students this coming school year, we need your help!

​

This year we will be attending the Bands of America Grand National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana along with the top 90 Bands from across the country. We need your help to shoulder the costs of this once-in-a-lifetime journey for our students and support the band program as proud regional/state ambassadors.

Will you join us in this effort by making a generous donation of $250, $500, $1000 or any amount you can afford today? Additionally, you may wish to establish a student scholarship in your name or that of your company which will directly guarantee a student’s opportunity.

Every single dollar you donate will help us reach our goal, and ensure that we are able to provide high quality music and leadership education to every student who walks through our doors.
